Ezekiel Elliott has won Sporting News Rookie of the Year. He is the first Dallas Cowboys player to win this award since Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett did in 1977. The other winner also was a running back, Calvin Hill, in 1969. Of course, this season Elliott passed Dorsett for most yards from a Cowboys rookie running back.

Zeke Elliott and rookie running mate Dak Prescott took the entire league by storm and both have an extremely bright future. They are both very intelligent and talented football players.

SN' Rookie of the Year Voting results:

 1. Ezekiel Elliott

 2. Dak Prescott

Ezekiel Elliott totaled 1994 all purpose yards and 16 touchdowns this season, in 15 games. In a full 16 games he would of had 2000 all purpose yards. I believe next year he has a legitimate shot at 2000 yards, 2000 rushing yards.
