The Dallas Mavericks plan to honor Tony Romo at their home finale Tuesday night against the Denver Nuggets by making the legendary Cowboys quarterback “a Maverick for a day,” suiting him up in uniform.
Sources say that the 14-year NFL quarterback will not get any playing time, however, he will proceed with the morning shoot-around, pregame warmups, press conferences, interviews, team photos, etc. In my opinion, they will find a way to get him involved in the game, it is going to be an amazing night!
UPDATE: Apparently, Tony Romo will not be actually signing a contract, therefore that lessens the chances of him actually playing. I still would not be surprised to see him out there, regardless it will be such a special night for the city of Dallas.
