Rookie Mini-Camp, Arrivals, Contracts

FRISCO, Texas – Only about two weeks after the 2017 NFL Draft and we are already making some heavy lead-way with the 2017 Dallas Cowboys Rookie class. Rookie Mini-Camp started today, and heading into the day eight of the nine Cowboys draftees have already signed their rookie contracts. That trend started with first round draft pick DE, Taco Charlton. Following Charlton, the Cowboys also signed CB Chidobe Awuzie, WR Ryan Switzer, S Xavier Woods, CB Marquez White, WR Noah Brown, and DL Joey Ivie/Jordan Carrell. This leaves the Cowboys with only one unsigned rookie, Jourdan Lewis. It’s very good to see how eager these rookies are to get started. However, that’s not a knock on Jourdan Lewis, considering Zeke was the last rookie to get signed last season and he ended up being more motivated and enthusiastic than anyone. Sometimes, it just takes a little longer to get things rolling, that’s okay. All in all, it is still very good to see how well this process is going.

Taco fit a huge need for the Cowboys
